A Little Bit About Me.
The eldest of five siblings and raised by two loving parents…we were happy. Graduating from high school and attending college for Graphic Arts and Philosophy I was a well grounded young adult. I lived in the best of times with countless opportunities for good jobs. The world has certainly changed.
I worked for the provincial government in retail sales tax presenting seniors with cheques. I also worked for the municipal government for social services assistance for over 20 years. I had direct contact with our clients in person or on the phones helping them in areas of sickness, abuse, shelter and the necessities of life for they were all in need. Their stories humbled me. I also earned a Real Estate licence and worked in the Real Estate field for many years enjoying their joy when clients found the home of their dreams. Contracts, ethics and trust were involved. I value these traits always.
I have been writing for as long as I can remember. It just happens. It is a vital part of me. Sometimes a thought or a sentence niggles my brain and I have to write it down or the script will change. The words carry me in directions they want me to go. I do not fight it, I follow. Writing is a gift given…hopefully to be shared.

Surrounded by the things I love. My children's bench. My tiny lamp. My books on display and my ducks on water through sunlight from my granddaughter. She inspires me to be better.
